![]() While taste buds vary and there are more recipes than someone could try within a relatively small time frame, here are some recommendations and highlights from the cookbook: Not only is that a simple portmanteau of Chicken and Mozambique, but it's hard not to see the description of it in the text as anything but a KFC reference. ![]() Meanwhile, the book also fleshes out some details and menus for in-universe restaurants, including Chickenbique. For example, while many may assume Wraith prefers a harder alcohol, it turns out her favorite drink is an Appletini. Nothing in the book is necessarily revolutionary, but it's still a nice addition to the larger canon. The book also references basically every Apex Legends character minus Ballistic in some way, sometimes revealing interesting little lore bits. There's an entire story to how Pathfinder stumbled upon making a cookbook, how he's been constantly fired, and how Apex Legends' Syndicate (including a mention of Kuben Blisk) is paying Pathfinder and Mirage in exposure, which the latter objects to. ![]() Every section, every recipe, and the intro and outros are written from the perspective of Pathfinder and Mirage, which creates quite a few chuckle-worthy elements. While a cookbook's domineering feature is of course the recipes within, it should be noted that it's a pleasant read beyond that.
